I’m Caroline. I’m one of the estheticians at the Baton Rouge location, and today I wanna talk to you about ThermiVa. ThermiVa is a treatment that’s gonna use radiofrequency in the vaginal canal to address multiple concerns. So anywhere between incontinence, sexual sensation, lack of sexual sensation, laxity, anything that can happen in between menopause, premenopausal, post-childbirth. Any of these things, it’s gonna address. It’s a small wand and it has a metal tip at the end of it. That radio frequency that we’re gonna use internally is gonna help induce collagen, so we build up those walls. Exterior-wise, it’s gonna help with laxity and appearance. It sounds really intimidating, it’s super easy. You know, you’re in the office for about 30 minutes. It’s less uncomfortable than a pap smear if that helps. In and out, no discomfort, no downtime. Patients can go home and have same-day sex after the treatment, unlike other vaginal tightening treatments that people offer. It’s amazing. To be honest, most of my patients become obsessed with the treatment. It changes their life, it changes their partner’s life. You know, they enjoy sex again. So this treatment is really up to you. I have patients who wanna do three a year. I have patients who want to do one a year just as maintenance. It’s really up to each patient on what they need and what they want. You don’t have to have a baby to do this treatment. You don’t have to be pre or post-menopause to be a candidate for this. So many women struggle with this, and why don’t we talk about it? You know, it’s a taboo topic and it shouldn’t be. ThermiVa is something I definitely recommend to most of my patients. It’s gonna positively impact your life, your partner’s life.
