Case Details
This patient came to Weiler Plastic Surgery with a longstanding desire to reduce the size and weight of their breasts. They experienced chronic shoulder and back discomfort, making daily activities and exercise difficult. After considering their options, they chose to move forward with breast reduction in Lafayette with the goal of achieving a more comfortable and proportionate breast size.
During the procedure, excess tissue and skin were removed to achieve a balanced result based on the patient’s unique anatomy and goals. The patient recovered well and quickly noticed decreased physical discomfort. In post-procedure appointments, they reported improvement in posture and the ability to participate in physical activity with less limitation.
Dr. Bennett Fontenot, MD, performed this breast reduction. As a double board-certified plastic surgeon, he applies specialized training and extensive experience to breast reduction in Lafayette.
