As the mom of 3 boys, Dr. M’liss Hogan offers the unique perspective of a woman and mother to her plastic surgery patients. A native of New Orleans, Dr. Hogan is a board-certified plastic surgeon who joined our Baton Rouge-based plastic surgery practice in 2021 after operating a solo practice for 6 years. She specializes in body contouring procedures and cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery.

Dr. Hogan earned her medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from LSU. Following med school, she completed a general surgery residency at LSU Health Sciences Center. Dr. Hogan then completed a 3-year residency focused exclusively on plastic and reconstructive surgery.
During her plastic surgery training, Dr. Hogan was involved in research and co-authored several publications and book chapters involving plastic surgery.

Outside the operating room, Dr. Hogan devotes much of her time to her family. Following LSU sports is a passion shared by all her family, and they attend as many games as possible. She also lives a healthy lifestyle that includes regularly working out.

Dr, Hogan Was amazing! The work no had done turned out so beautifully and natural looking! I was so concerned on how my stomach would turn out and she assured me i would get the most natural look! From the second I walked through the doors at Weiler’s office, I felt at home. Dr Hogan and the entire staff were very helpful and thorough! From the moment I called Weiler Plastic Surgery to the present (post surgical), has been the utmost pleasurable experience. I have walked into other surgeon offices and felt as if I was a bother, well not here!! Everyone took the time to welcome me, say hello and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Hogan did my breast reduction, lift and implants and I am beyond pleased with the outcome! I should have done this many years ago! During my consultation, Lindsey helped me choose what would be best for me and what I would be happy with. Jordan with Preop, answered many questions I had and made me feel comfortable. Tabitha helped at Post op apt and was amazing and answered more questions I had. ☺️ Everyone that works at Weiler always has a smile on their face! Dr. Hogan was a God send when our 2 year old daughter got hit in the face with a swing on the playground. Dr. Hogan went out of her way to squeeze us in and stitch our little girl up. We were so pleased with her and can’t recommend her enough! You would never know that this accident ever occurred thanks to Dr. Hogan’s skill. We love her and highly recommend her!
