Most patients can return to work or school within 5 to 7 days of the procedure. After rhinoplasty, the initial swelling and bruising typically resolve in about 2 weeks, although residual swelling may last for several months. Sleeping with your head elevated during the first week and closely following our post-op instructions will help you recover as quickly as possible with minimal discomfort.
In some cases, patients opt for a nonsurgical rhinoplasty procedure called liquid rhinoplasty in which an expert injector reshapes the nose with fillers. This is a good option if you’re not sure you want to permanently change the appearance of your nose, enabling you to “test drive” a new look.
