WHAT HAPPENS DURING EYELID SURGERY?
Your surgeon makes incisions within the eyelid’s natural crease and then removes skin and tiny pads of fat before closing the incision. Scars are concealed in the crease of the eyelid.

Incisions are made externally (just below the lash line) or inside the lower lid (transconjunctival incision), depending on your specific concern. The internal, scarless technique provides access to fat, muscle, and skin and typically involves less bruising than external incisions.
